So anybody that knows me knows I'm a huge coffee fiend. I can go through eight to ten cups a day easily. I love that I have found something that brings me enjoyment without the excessive trouble that usually goes along with vices. So, I've decided to start a blog about coffee, the occasional craft beer, and music. My goal is to try a new coffee and/or craft beer each week and give my thoughts on such deep topics...sarcasm implied. If you have any coffee's you love and think I would too send me a message.
My love of coffee steams from being born into a long line of coffee fanatics, but for me it all started a few years back with late nights working on past music projects. I really don't hit creative mode until about 2am or so. When your starting a creative process that late you tend to need a boost toward the end, especially if you have deadlines to meet. So, in an effort to become superman I started chugging cold cups of black coffee. Amazingly enough you develop quite an appreciation for this wonder juice with such an approach.
My ultimate goal is not to find the perfect cup of Joe. There are too many moving parts to do that. I have found that as awesome as coffee is, it never taste quite as good as it smells while brewing. So, my search will be to find a roast that's as good in the sipping department as the aroma, and the search is on!
